Steam curing chambers involve curing of materials with steam at around 100 °C temperature for specified time Cycle. To make this curing process more efficient & economic, chamber walls are made of insulating material having low thermal conductivity, high specific heat, & good structural strength. This will lead to minimize heat losses & make the process more energy efficient.
AGNI 400is suitable as an insulating wall for stream curing chamber, as it has got low thermal conductivity (0.3 Watt / M °C), High Specific heat (1.03 Jule/ gm°K), AGNI 400 is used in place of Concrete walls (Specific heat –0.88 Jule / gm°K).
